With Fire Glazed, GIMA offers a new, fascinating surface variant for unique bricks. The innovative firing method - a combination of charcoal-salt firing and glazing - creates an individual look with alternating glazed and broken surfaces, with salt and charcoal firing, with edges and notches.
The bricks are covered with a glaze before the firing process. Like charcoal and salt, this is burned into the bricks and causes them to stick together in places. After the burning process, some of the clinker bricks have to be broken apart again. This is how the new and absolutely individual look with glazed and broken surfaces is created - here every clinker is really unique.
